I'd been following Osteo Adventures for a while and waiting for an event I was able to support, when I saw this - a 12 hour overnight fundraising event on Dartmoor for Mountain Rescue.
The runners completed as many 12km laps as they could between 6pm and 6am, with breaks in the Army base for Osteo support to keep them going!
After pitching my tent for the night, rolling out the camping mat, and going to the event briefing, we were ready to get started.
Four of us were providing the physio/Osteo support, working in teams of two in two hour shifts through the night.
Lots of the runners made their way to us, generally to be taped up, patched up, and sent back out for another lap!
Thankfully there were no major injuries, and everyone successfully made it through the night. It was a hilly event, and pitch black - I'm full of admiration for everyone who took part, raising money for a fantastic cause.
