Most of us will experience back pain at some point in our lives, and visiting an Osteopath can help ease the discomfort.
Lower back pain is any pain felt in the lumbar (lower) part of the spine.
This pain can be caused by a number of things, such as issues with the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, discs, or nerves in the spine. The sacroiliac joint (at the base of the spine) can also cause pain in this area. Osteopaths are highly skilled in diagnosing and treating back pain, and I use a gentle hands-on approach to help you get back to feeling your best.
Lower back pain can be caused by a wide range of factors, from lifting heavy objects to sitting in awkward positions for extended periods of time.
Regardless of the cause, lower back pain can be debilitating, causing stiffness, weakness, and limited mobility. It can often be worse in the mornings, and ease as we move around.
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach to treatment that aims to ease pain and restore movement.
Stuart will work to relax the muscles around the affected area, assess and improve overall mobility, and address the underlying cause of the pain.
In addition to providing immediate pain relief, Osteopathic treatment also aims to enhance overall mobility and resilience, helping to prevent future back pain.
